- The Bayside area hugs the southern part of Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay, with the suburbs lying between 9 and 20 kms from Melbourne's city centre. Bayside suburbs include Beaumaris, Black Rock, Brighton, Brighton East, parts of Cheltenham, Hampton, Hampton East, parts of Highett, Sandringham and Sandringham East. Population: 91, 726.
